Jeffrey Pierce Fultz, a native Texan, was raised in Navasota, a small town in southeast Texas.  He comes from a family of country lawyers that embody grit, determination and service above self, and is engrained with a tough work ethic and non-elitist, yet confident personality, understanding that the practice of law is a service industry in which a lawyer must be able to identify and relate to all types of individuals, clients and adversaries.  His commitment to providing personal attention to his clients and their cases is his top priority and personal brand, whether it be a large business, corporation or an individual.  He is known for his tenacity for vigorously defending his clients and “getting the job done” efficiently with honesty, integrity and compassion.  In addition to civil defense litigation, his expertise includes personal injury, products liability, mass tort, and other complex civil and commercial litigation.  Jeffrey represents commercial, property & casualty, oil & gas, and personal lines/commercial auto insurers and their insureds, providing investigative services, pre-litigation claims resolution, and zealous representation of his clients in all stages of civil litigation through trial.

Having been a licensed Texas attorney since 1994, Jeffrey has handled a broad range of civil matters including cases and claims related to exposure to silica, asbestos, benzene and other toxic/environmental hazards; premises liability; construction defects; products liability; and catastrophic injury/wrongful death cases.   In addition, he has developed a strong practice and is heavily involved in handling first-party insurance claims, bad faith and other insurance coverage litigation as well as extensive experience litigating cases involving commercial trucking accidents, automobile accidents, and cases involving catastrophic injury, property damage, cargo damage, and subrogation matters.

Jeffrey serves as National Coordinating Counsel for his clients who are involved in toxic tort and chemical exposure cases, and personally litigates cases filed in Texas and Mississippi, where he has been licensed since 1994 and 2003 respectively. More recently he has obtained his licenses to practice law in Illinois and Missouri and been admitted in cases to assist local counsel in other states, including Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, California, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

Jeffrey is a frequent speaker and has been the featured presenter in webinars for his insurance clients, and also conducts continuing education seminars and classes presented to insurance company professionals on a wide variety of topics, including Texas claims handling, product liability cases, insurance compliance, insurance coverage, the Stowers doctrine, commercial trucking, benzene, silica, and automobile cases.

Jeffrey is passionate about the history of Texas and serves as Executive Vice-President on the Board of Directors of The Star of the Republic Museum in Washington-on-the-Brazos – the Birthplace of Texas.  He and his wife and their two adult sons all reside in Houston, Texas.
