Mr. Johnson is licensed in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi representing clients in the insurance, oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, and transportation industries.

The scope of Mr. Johnson’s litigation practice includes defending product manufacturers, construction companies, transportation companies, and commercial property owners in lawsuits involving personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage, as well as, property-casualty and general liability insurance carriers against first-party bad faith claims.

Mr. Johnson also represents and advises start-up, small and medium-size companies providing direct assistance with their domestic and international commercial transaction needs, corporate organizational matters, risk management and corporate compliance guidance, and direct legal representation in company litigation and management of outside counsel. His typical work for these clients includes the negotiation and drafting of master service agreements, prime and subcontracts, joint venture agreements, vendor agreements, lease agreements, business or asset acquisition and sale agreements, loan and financing agreements, and various forms of debt and equity capital raising structures to achieve company strategic objectives and goals. Responsibilities also include, drafting employment and key-man agreements, shareholder and partnership agreements, as well as advising corporate officers on appropriate structure choices for subsidiary or affiliate entities.
